Genuine Fake US Gold Eagles – Not Tungsten!

There's lots of rumors going around about tungsten filled gold bars, but so far there's not been much evidence to support these claims other than the famous German TV spot at the Heraeus foundry. The coins I'm showing here in this video are NOT tungsten filled coins, but they ARE fakes / copies of 1 oz US Gold Eagle coins. Before anyone get's too excited, the word COPY is stamped on them in tiny letters in a discrete place and anybody who examines the coins carefully will not fail to spot this, but at first glance they are convincing. However, apart from the word COPY, and the obvious fact they are lighter than the real thing, they are pretty convincing copies. These coins are gold plated, although the genuine Gold Eagles a slightly darker color due to the other metals that make up the alloy and don't have such a shiny finish. They sell for around £10 on ebay and convincing Krugerrands are also available. Why would anyone want these coins? Well, I think they make very good decoy coins. No matter how hard you try to keep your stash of real gold a secret, there's always a chance someone will find out and want to relieve you of said stash. If someone does attempt to steal your stash and are hurried or have little experience of dealing with genuine gold coins they might leave with these worthless things instead of your real gold! PS.
